ATTORNEY

Katherine M. Jourdan is a Partner at Valor Law Group, where she has practiced since 2021. Her practice spans both litigation and transactional work. She represents clients in personal injury, construction, business, and real estate disputes. She also handles divorce, parenting plan matters, and criminal defense. In addition, she guides clients through estate planning and probate, helping families protect what they’ve built.

Katherine believes good lawyering starts with listening. She takes the time to understand what her clients actually need. Sometimes that’s a hard-fought win in court. Other times it’s a resolution that lets everyone move forward. Her mediation experience gives her a practical edge. She knows when to push and when a creative settlement will serve a client better than years of litigation.

Before joining Valor Law Group, Katherine served as a criminal prosecutor in Wenatchee. She handled cases from the initial charging decision through settlement or trial. She worked closely with law enforcement, victims, and witnesses, always seeking fair outcomes for victims of crime and defendants alike. That inside view of the criminal justice system now benefits her clients in private practice. She uses it to negotiate with prosecutors and reach creative resolutions.

Katherine grew up on a small family farm in Chelan County, raising dairy goats and, later, sheep and border collies. Her work with dogs connected her with local ranchers, and their challenges inspired her to pursue law. Before practicing, she worked with firms in Washington and Oregon on land use and agricultural matters. She drafted legal descriptions, assisted with property disputes, and developed legal strategies for farmers and ranchers. She also presented at the Washington Cattlemen’s Association annual convention on how federal regulations affect ranchers and livestock producers. Today she puts that experience to work for farmers, landowners, and families. Her work includes agricultural matters and land disputes involving easements, access, and boundaries.

Katherine earned her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School. She holds a B.A. from Gonzaga University, with a focus on environmental science and journalism, and an A.A. from Wenatchee Valley College. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, photography, working with her border collies, and a good mystery novel.
